You get what you pay for, there are cheaper sheds out there but its worth a little extra for better craftsmanship, quality, and service. Had 1 minor cosmetic issue with my shed, the owner contacted me right at opening the next business day and got it resolved, no hassle. As for the build, it is the best constructed shed I've bought out all I've had over the years from various builders.

I enjoyed dealing with their entire team. In the early stages we increased the size and I am glad we did. The quality of their work is excellent. They did a great job building the base for the shed. I had 2 small issues which were resolved quickly 1 window latch was broke and replaced. The shed also settled a little causing the door opening to stick. The front south corner needed to be shimmed up which fixed the issue. I would highly recommend them for a high quality shed.

I have been fortunate to have the men at KMB build me several not-so-'mini' garden sheds on location at my home just south of North Liberty. I was introduced to Kalona Mini-Buildings through my research for someone who could demolish a run-down horse-barn near our pond that had been on my property when I purchased it back in the early 2000's. I then asked them build a replacement shed, in which I could store firewood that I've cut down from our oak and walnut groves. It worked out so well that about a year later, I asked them to build another shed close to our garden and orchard, to hold all manner of equipment, tools, and supplies. This "Garden Shed" was also outfitted with electricity, water, and drainage systems. Subsequently, KMB added a 2 ½ car size extension onto the Garden Shed. This "Machine Shed" addition houses a John Deere tractor, 2 Walker riding mowers, and a Walker riding snowblower. All of these sheds are extremely well made, and promise to last for many years in all kinds of weather conditions. In fact, I fully expect them to last a lifetime! My hat's off to KMB's excellent craftsmanship!
